"Kia hora te marino, Kia whakapapa pounamu te moana
Hei huarahi mā tātou i te rangi nei, Aroha atu, Aroha mai,
Tātou i a tātou katoa...hui e! Tāiki e!
May peace be widespread, may the sea be like greenstone,
A pathway for us all this day
Let us show respect for each other, for one another,
Bind us...all...together!
Waiheke Island
Indigenous health and wellness workshops with the intention of developing a piece to share to the community at Artworks Theatre.
E Tipu E Rea launched 2021 in the Motu Matariki Festival on Waiheke Island with participants from Waiheke Highschool and Waiheke Primary School as well as members of the community.

An outpouring response of tears, love, joy, laughter, growth and courage was reflected in the work and as such, by many requests Tūrongo will be holding a full immersion wananga in the next Spring season.
